Construction Material Testing seeks a Certified Welding Inspector II to perform visual weld inspections and sign inspection reports in accordance with project requirements and governing codes. You will witness welder qualification tests, review WPS and PQR, and direct NDT activities, with reporting to the engineer of record and building official.

Responsibilities span fabrication shop and field erection, including high-strength bolting and base plate grouting where certified.

Qualifications

• Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with 2+ years inspecting under it.

Responsibilities

• Perform and sign visual weld inspection with accept/reject authority to the governing code.
