UPMC Harrisburg is seeking a Senior Professional Staff Nurse OR to provide expert perioperative care in a premier cardiovascular program. You will lead, mentor, and advocate for patients and families while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and nurses in a fast-paced CVOR setting.

You will require strong clinical judgment, scrub/circulate skills, and the ability to work across a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the appropriate state; CPR required.
• BSN preferred and ability to obtain or maintain appropriate certifications.
• Experience in perioperative nursing and CVOR environment is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver expert perioperative care and act as clinical leader.
• Circulate and scrub in surgeries; maintain sterile environment.
• Demonstrate independent clinical judgment and teamwork.
• Document care provided and manage patient records.
• Engage with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Adhere to unit policies, competencies, and patient age-specific needs.
