Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Senior Architect, Computer Vision to advance the FactoryTalk Analytics VisionAI portfolio. You will own model architecture, training, and deployment for vision and vision-language workloads in an on-premises, OT-constrained environment.

This senior technical leader role reports to the VP of Software Engineering and offers a hybrid work model with options in Mayfield Heights, OH or Milwaukee, WI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant work experience; U.S. work authorization required.
• Master's or PhD in computer vision, ML, robotics or related discipline preferred.
• Experience deploying production-ready vision models in industrial or OT settings.

Responsibilities

• Own model architecture, training, and evaluation for FactoryTalk VisionAI.
• Scale vision work across the portfolio with dataset strategy and deployment.
• Extend evaluation gates, monitor accuracy, drift and failures in deployments.
• Advise engineering teams and shape roadmaps for the portfolio.
• Design for on-premises, disconnected inference with data residency considerations.
