Senior Customer Solution Architect

Snowflake is looking for a Senior Customer Solution Architect to join our high-impact Solution Innovation Team. In this role, you will work closely with sales and field engineering teams to accelerate the adoption and growth of the Snowflake platform. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is comfortable with ambiguity. You will be responsible for ensuring customer success by providing technical expertise, strategic guidance, and hands-on support to maximize the value customers get from Snowflake.

What You’ll Do:
  • Serve as a technical expert on all aspects of the Snowflake platform.

  • Deploy Snowflake following best practices while ensuring customers are enabled to extend capabilities independently.

  • Engage with executives and technical teams, presenting Snowflake’s vision and technology to drive adoption.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to key customer stakeholders, aligning solutions with their business goals.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies, positioning Snowflake effectively.

  • Guide customers in resolving technical challenges, optimizing architecture, and improving performance.

  • Lead customer engagements, identifying pain points and recommending solutions that deliver business value.

  • Shape team processes by creating reusable assets, improving workflows, and sharing best practices.

  • Collaborate with Product & Engineering teams to influence future innovations based on customer needs.

  • Work cross-functionally with Professional Services, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to drive strategic initiatives.

What You Bring:
  • 10+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles (pre-sales or post-sales).

  • 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, designing and implementing scalable solutions.

  • Strong expertise in data architecture, ETL, and analytics.

  • Proven ability to translate business problems into technical solutions and communicate them effectively.

  • Hands-on experience with SQL and familiarity with languages like Python, Java, Scala, or JavaScript.

  • Knowledge of data formats or languages that manage data, including SQL, JSON, AVRO, Apache Parquet or XML

  • Deep understanding of data platforms, cloud architecture, and enterprise SaaS solutions.

  • Experience leading customer workshops, conducting technical demos, and driving proof-of-concepts.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a metrics-driven environment.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred

Bonus Points:
  • 1+ years of practical Snowflake experience.

  • Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification.

  • Experience with non-relational platforms, data lake architectures, and open data formats (e.g., Iceberg, Parquet).

  • Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Sigma.

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP and cloud-native data services.

  • Internal and/or external consulting experience.

  • Industry expertise in sectors like Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, etc.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $134,000 - $187,425.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
