Customer Service Engineer - Chicago, IL or Madison, WI

Join to apply for the Customer Service Engineer - Chicago, IL or Madison, WI role at Revvity.

Revvity is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our life sciences reproductive and genomics product lines. This role will enhance laboratory productivity and customer satisfaction by providing expert service and support within Illinois and Wisconsin, with additional travel as needed.

Product lines include:

  • QSight: High-sensitivity LC-MS/MS system for targeted quantitation.
  • JANUS Automated Workstation: Liquid handling platform for genomics and research.
  • GSP (Genetic Screening Processor): Automated neonatal and prenatal screening system.
  • TriCarb Liquid Scintillation Counters: Instruments for radioisotope detection.

The Senior Field Service Engineer will ensure optimal instrument performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, validate, and repair instruments at customer sites.
  • Provide customer training on instrument operation and maintenance.
  • Support remote technical resolution teams.
  • Understand customer workflows and communicate service offerings.
  • Mentor and develop other Field Service Engineers.
  • Support sales efforts and service contract growth.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA with 2+ years or AS/AA with 4+ years or High School diploma with 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Preferred Skills:

  • Laboratory safety knowledge, chromatography & mass spec experience, liquid handling expertise.
  • Certification on relevant lab equipment, proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in lab environments.
