Frame Company Minnesota in Frame Company Minnesota – Eagan, Minnesota is seeking a Senior Custom Framer to design and build museum-quality jersey displays and shadow boxes, plus a wide range of framing projects for memorabilia and fine art.

The successful candidate will work independently, tackle design challenges, and maintain archival standards while delivering flawless results. This part-time role offers 20–25 hours weekly within regular business hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of professional custom framing experience.
• Experience designing and framing jerseys, sports memorabilia, and shadow boxes.
• Extensive experience framing fine art, photography, canvas, and traditional framing projects.
• Thorough understanding of conservation framing and archival mounting techniques.
• Experience using pneumatic framing equipment, underpinners, saws, and Wizard mat cutters.
• Excellent measuring, design, and layout skills.
• Ability to solve framing challenges independently.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and construct museum-quality jersey displays, shadow boxes, and custom framing projects.
• Professionally mount jerseys, textiles, and memorabilia using conservation methods.
• Frame original artwork, photography, canvases, diplomas, needlework with archival techniques.
• Frame three-dimensional memorabilia including military uniforms, medals, flags, and trading cards.
• Create visually balanced layouts that showcase each customer's story.
• Cut and assemble complex multi-opening mats using a Wizard mat cutter.
• Build custom frames, stretch canvases, install glazing, and complete projects to high standards.
• Utilize museum glass, archival mats, and acid-free backing.
• Inspect finished pieces for craftsmanship and quality before delivery.
• Collaborate with customers and designers on framing solutions.
