The ideal candidate has 10+ years in financial services, deep custody accounting knowledge, and strong stakeholder management to drive workshops, testing, and implementation planning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Business Analyst within financial services.
• Deep understanding of Custody Accounting and related processes.
• Experience supporting IBM mainframe-based custody platforms.
• Knowledge of batch processing and accounting cycles.
• Strong grasp of securities processing and asset servicing.
• Proven ability to document complex operational workflows.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document functional and technical business requirements.
• Analyze custody accounting processes and workflows.
• Document current state mainframe functionality and dependencies.
• Define future state business processes to support modernization.
• Produce functional specifications and user stories.
• Partner with architects, developers and operations teams.
• Support data mapping and reconciliation activities.
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders.
• Assist with system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
