Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties while adhering to safety and sanitation procedures.
• Tasks include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing floors, washing walls, doors, windows, light fixtures, discarding trash, cleaning and sanitizing all waste bins and linen hampers.
• Properly store housekeeping equipment and report malfunctions.
• Wash dishes, pans, utensils, and small equipment according to established procedures.

Salary Rate: $25.80/hourly

Qualifications

• Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy with co-workers.
• Effective interaction with patients, customers, and colleagues demonstrating superior customer service and teamwork.
• Proficiency in operating various housekeeping equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor machines, carpet extractors, auto scrubbers, pressure/steam cleaning machines).
• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English.
• Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks.
• Work effectively within defined time constraints.
• Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent bending at the waist while standing.
• Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Stoop and squat.
• Twisting and bending of the neck forward and backward.
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods.
