Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, Housekeeping Manager, and Operations Manager, you will provide housekeeping services for residential halls, apartments, conference facilities, and surrounding areas. Tasks include operating equipment to clean and maintain various spaces, performing daily maid services, and conducting deep cleans during peak periods, all in accordance with departmental standards for quality customer service.

Salary & Compensation

Qualifications

• 0-1 year custodial experience (preferred)
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions (required)
• Ability to sweep, mop, and pick up trash, lifting approximately 50 lbs over 30 feet (required)
• Effective communication skills for completing work logs and understanding instructions (required)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, inside and outside apartments (required)
• Flexibility to rotate assignments and work in various areas (required)
• Proficiency in operating cleaning machinery such as floor sanders, shellac applicators, and buffing machines (required)
• Ability to operate trash compactors, street sweepers, and carpet extractors (required)
• Capability to lift and move furniture/appliances, often stairs (required)
• Valid California Driver's License to operate departmental vehicles (preferred)
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, crawl as needed (required)
• Reliable attendance and punctuality (required)
• Ability to work cooperatively with others (required)

Education & Certifications

• High School Diploma (preferred)
