Job summary

The City of Lynchburg is seeking experienced custodians to perform routine cleaning and maintenance in various City buildings. Shifts run 5:00 am–1:30 pm or 11:30 am–8:00 pm, with full-time benefits including retirement and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and custodial experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine custodial cleaning functions in City buildings.
• Reports repairs beyond capabilities to supervisor.
• Assist with cleaning of parking decks and common areas.
• Monitor cleanliness of restrooms, hallways, and stairwells.
• Organize spaces for meetings and special events.
