Job summary

The University of Central Florida's Facilities Operations Housekeeping Services is seeking a Custodial Specialist II to maintain a clean, safe campus environment. This role includes deep cleaning, floor and carpet care, light pressure washing, and handling IWMS work requests while assisting with training new staff.

Minimum qualifications include 9th grade and 2+ years of custodial experience. On-site schedule: Mon-Fri, 5:00pm–1:30am.

Qualifications

• Completion of 9th grade and 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning and restorative projects, including hard floor care, carpet cleaning, and pressure washing.
• Identify and submit work requests to address any deficiencies found during inspections or regular duties.
• Provide training and support to team members on SOPs, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Ensure efficient operation of custodial equipment and stocking of supplies.
