Job summary

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a Senior Cultural Resource Scientist to direct the design, execution, analysis, and management of environmental, cultural, and hydrologic activities supporting energy facilities. You will lead programs, review activities, and coordinate with Operations to deliver projects safely and in compliance.

The role requires leading cross-disciplinary teams, managing consultants, and developing data warehousing strategies for operational forecasting, while upholding safety

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Environmental Science, Biology, Hydrology, Engineering, Anthropology, Mathematics, or similar with 7+ years of field experience.
• Experience with MS Office or equivalent software (Excel and Access).
• Senior-level cultural resources qualifications and governance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Conduct agency coordination and consultation as a representative of PSE.
• Develop SOPs, document evaluations, obtain permits, and perform administrative duties.
• Lead diverse environmental analyses and field investigations across disciplines.
• Prepare and manage projects; supervise field investigations and program monitoring.
• Develop data management systems, reporting, and regulatory documentation.
