Grey Matters Defense Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior CUDA/C++ Software Engineer in Arlington, VA to design, develop, and optimize high-performance GPU-accelerated software supporting advanced signal processing and RF/SIGINT mission applications. The role focuses on scalable, production-quality software using C++, CUDA, and NVIDIA GPU technologies to process large data in real-time.

Candidates should have deep C++ and GPU architecture expertise and experience with HPC, DSP, and Linux

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing high-performance applications in C++.
• 3+ years of hands-on CUDA development experience in production environments.
• Experience optimizing applications for throughput, latency, memory utilization, and scalability.
• Experience developing software on Linux platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain GPU-accelerated applications using CUDA and modern C++.
• Develop CUDA kernels optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Implement memory management strategies including shared/pinned/unified memory and async transfers.
• Optimize GPU utilization via concurrency, streams, and multi-GPU processing.
• Integrate GPU-accelerated capabilities into larger software systems and mission applications.
