Job summary

Dallas Independent School District is seeking a Coordinator III (226 Days) to lead and align Career and Technical Education initiatives across campuses. You will collaborate with CTE, district partners, and campus leaders to build high-quality CTE programs and opportunities for students.

The role emphasizes program evaluation, professional development, and creating work-based learning experiences to support college and career readiness in a large urban district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university; CTE teaching certification preferred.
• Five or more years of teaching or related work experience in a CTE area; admin experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; teamwork; initiative and self-direction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms).
• Ability to collaborate with district departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the CTE Dept, Career Institutes, Teaching and Learning, and School Leadership to ensure integrated programs.
• Align CTE work with TEA approved CTE Pathways.
• Evaluate and improve CTE programs with team and partners.
• Assist with certification and dual credit opportunities for CTE Teachers.
• Develop quality professional development experiences for CTE teachers.
• Plan college and career field trips for CTE students.
• Facilitate CTSO activities as needed.
• Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
