Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Senior CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT imaging, ensuring patient safety and adherence to imaging standards. You may lead when a supervisor is unavailable and act as a resource for teammates.

Qualified candidates will have graduated from an accredited Imaging Program with ARRT CT certification and BLS, plus 2 years of relevant experience. State licensure requirements may vary by practice location and setting.

The Senior CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires proficiency and thorough understanding of operating imaging equipment and procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining imaging standards. Responsibilities include serving as a lead, when leadership is unavailable, serving as a resource, assisting in orientation, and training. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.

Position Details:

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and the required clinical hours have been completed.

Experience: 2 years of relevant experience

Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Certification/Registration: ARRT (CT) ; Basic Life Support (BLS)
