Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Senior CT Technologist to perform CT exams in both inpatient and outpatient settings, while maintaining the highest standards of image quality and patient safety.

You will train students and new hires, interact with anesthesia and other care teams, and ensure compliance with radiation safety policies and infection control. A sign-on bonus is available for new hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Typically 2–5 years in healthcare; Sr. level requires 3+ years in acute care.
• Flexible scheduling; willingness to rotate shifts and work at multiple UCSF Medical Center locations.
• Teaching/mentoring experience with staff and students.
• ARRT and CRT licensure; BLS; venipuncture certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Submit high-quality images to PACS and ensure proper labeling and patient identification.
• Train students and new hires as needed.
• Collaborate with anesthesia and other departments in the CT environment.
• Adhere to Radiation Safety policies and infection control guidelines.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and maintain quality assurance.
