Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center seeks a Senior CT (CAT Scan) Technologist to join the Radiology team in East Baltimore. The role includes performing CT exams, supporting QA activities, and contributing to a high-quality patient imaging workflow.

The candidate will train students and new technologists while maintaining PAR level supplies and assisting in ongoing process improvements to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
• ARRT Certification with current registration in Radiologic Technology and CT.
• Maryland Board of Physicians license to practice radiology; Nuclear Medicine license if applicable with CT authorization.
• Current ARRT CT certification or Nuclear Medicine Certification Board certification with ARRT CT eligibility.
• CPR certification valid within one month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures as part of the imaging team.
• Conduct daily and monthly Quality Assurance for CT operations.
• Stock exam rooms with PAR level supplies.
• Assist in training and teaching students and new technologists.
• Demonstrate proactive approach to improving operations.
