Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is a 420-bed teaching hospital with a renowned radiology department offering advanced CT imaging and interventional procedures. A Senior CT Technologist will perform CT procedures, ensure QA, stock rooms, and assist in training students and new staff while driving operational improvements.

The role includes working 4–10 hour shifts with rotational weekends, 10:00am–8:30pm, and a comprehensive benefits package including tuition reimbursement and a 403B plan.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree. One year of relevant professional work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
• Completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or equivalent
• ARRT Certification with current registration
• Licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist license by the Maryland Board of Physicians with special license to operate standalone/hybrid CT devices for Diagnostic CT. Current registration for ARRT or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board certified and ARRT Computed Tomography CT certification
• Valid CPR certification within one (1) month of hire
• Two (2) years full-time CT imaging experience

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures
• Perform daily and monthly Quality Assurance
• Stock exam rooms with PAR level supplies
• Assist in training and teaching students and new techs
• Display a proactive approach to improving and enhancing operations
