Job summary

Adventist Health in Little River, CA is seeking a CT technologist to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis using CT scanners. The role requires efficient clinical care, strong technical and organizational skills, and critical thinking to support patient care.

The position requires ARRT CT registration or CA CT license, BLS, and preferred is an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology with prior CT experience. Join a faith-based healthcare system serving coastal communities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Three years' CT technologist experience preferred.
• Registered by ARRT in CT: required or CA state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted CT images for radiologist interpretation.
• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Ensures department, equipment and staffing meet accreditation requirements (JCAHO, ACR, State Licensures); leads accreditation processes.
