Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to support the Radiology Department. You will assist the department director, perform CT exams, and conduct quality control procedures as required by the manufacturer.

You will screen patients for contrast contraindications and work closely with radiologists, nursing staff, and hospital colleagues to resolve issues and ensure safe, accurate imaging. Weekend and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Must have current BCLS certification.
• Five years CT experience.
• Membership in related professional organization preferred.
• Knowledge of performance standards as outlined by the ASRT.
• Adherence to UHS Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assist Department Director/Supervisor in daily operations and CT procedures.
• Perform and oversee CT quality control per manufacturer requirements.
• Evaluate orders, verify with radiologist, ensure correct exam.
• Screen patients for contraindications to contrast media and coordinate care.
• Maintain skills and collaborate with staff, including weekends/evenings/overtime as needed.
