Job summary

Coronaregional is seeking an experienced radiology professional to supervise CT/MRI exams and support the department director in Diagnostic Imaging. You will operate CT/MRI equipment, ensure compliance with California licensing requirements, and utilize gamma and SPECT software to aid diagnoses.

The role requires ARRT/CRT, CA Fluoroscopy Permit, and CPR/BLS certification, with CT certification targeted by 2015.

Qualifications

• At least two years experience in CT procedures.
• Current California Department of Health Services certification and ARRT/CRT are required.
• CT certification must be obtained by July 1, 2015.
• Current CA Fluoroscopy Permit and BLS CPR certification required.
• IV Certification for contrast injections preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Diagnostic Imaging in supervising all CT/MRI exams performed by staff, technologists and students.
• Operate CT/MRI equipment as ordered by physicians to aid diagnosis.
• Maintain proper computer proficiency and use of gamma and SPECT software.
