Senior CSFC Security Engineer Manager

The Opportunity:

The Senior CSFC Security Engineer Manager will report to the Archon General Manager and will lead a team of ISSMs and Cyber Security experts. The role involves managing, optimizing, and automating the ID Technologies portfolio of secure solutions, ensuring compliance with Federal Government cybersecurity policies and NSA CSfC program requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing the cybersecurity program for all Archon customer systems, including strategic planning, policy enforcement, emergency preparedness, security awareness, and continuous monitoring. Travel to customer sites for installation may be required, up to 25%.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a team of at least 5 ISSM employees to deliver secure products.
  2. Analyze existing solutions to improve operations within U.S. Government technology constraints.
  3. Enforce cybersecurity policies and develop security recommendations.
  4. Review system changes against NIST standards and other applicable standards.
  5. Provide technical assistance, review audit logs, and analyze vulnerabilities.
  6. Conduct security assessments, compliance reviews, and STIG assessments.
  7. Support government personnel with controls and operational procedures.
  8. Review and prepare documentation, briefs, and presentations.
  9. Install, configure, and support Graylog Enterprise SIEM solutions.
  10. Design Elasticsearch environments and develop automation playbooks with Ansible, Terraform, etc.
  11. Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot issues for IT operations.
  12. Interact with customers and engineers during setup and configuration.
  13. Handle multiple tasks proactively.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in complex IT and security analysis within the U.S. Government.
  • 5+ years managing IT security teams.
  • Experience with Graylog Enterprise, NGINX, Grafana, and security audits.
  • Deep knowledge of IT operations, Ansible, and U.S. DoD policies.
  • Hands-on experience with NSA CSfC or related technologies.
  • DoD 8140.03 IAM Level III certification required.

Desired:

  • Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, RHCE.

Salary Range: $104,200 - $229,200, depending on experience and location. We offer comprehensive benefits and a flexible work environment.
