Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cryptography Engineer to work with U.S. Space Force on cryptographic strategies evolving RWMT, TISR, and EM systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional Crypto, Cyber, and Command teams to inform senior leadership on critical security decisions and protect national security. This role offers direct engagement with policy makers and military leaders to shape future on-orbit designs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience collaborating with cybersecurity teams and network admins.
• 3+ years of experience with processes to procure and manage Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI) or developing or evaluating cryptographic requirements for space or terrestrial cryptography.
• Experience working with COMSEC teams.
• Knowledge of cryptographic modernization strategies for legacy, current, and future devices.
• Knowledge of cryptographic architectures.
• Ability to brief senior level government officials.

Responsibilities

• Work with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Space Force on cryptographic strategies and architectures to inform senior leadership on security decisions.
• Inform government leaders and commanders on cryptographic challenges and enhance crypto capabilities for warfighters.
