Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cryptography Engineer in El Segundo, CA to collaborate with Space Force and internal teams on cryptographic strategies for next-generation RWMT, TISR, and EM systems. You will work with cross-functional Crypto, Cyber, and Command teams to inform leadership on crypto solutions and architectures, supporting national security missions with advanced cryptographic capabilities.

The role requires 7+ years in cybersecurity collaboration, 3+ years in CCI/cryptographic

Qualifications

  • 7+ years collaborating with cybersecurity teams and network admins
  • 3+ years in processes to procure and manage CCI or developing or evaluating cryptographic requirements for space or terrestrial cryptography
  • Experience working with COMSEC teams

Cryptography Engineer
The Opportunity:

As a cryptography engineer, you'll work with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Space Force on cryptographic strategies that will sustain and evolve the next generation Resilient Missile Warning and Tracking (RWMT), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM). You will work with cross-functional and cross-organization al Crypto, Cyber, and Command team s on new and novel approaches to cryptographic solutions and architectures that will inform senior leadership on critical security decisions relevant to protection of national security. This is an opportunity to use your critical thinking and analytical skillsets to inform government leaders and commanders on solutions to cryptographic challenges and enhance crypto capabilit ies that will provide critical information to our warfighte r during combat engagements.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
