Qualifications

• A track record in live trading research or a research-focused role at a trading firm.
• HFT or market making experience in crypto or traditional markets.
• Experience with order book mechanics, execution, slippage, and adverse selection.
• Strong data skills in Python or similar and comfort with large datasets.
• Disciplined approach to backtesting, evaluation, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate crypto trading strategies and test ideas on historical data.
• Identify signals in order book dynamics, trade flow, fill behavior, and short-term price evolution.
• State hypotheses, validate on historical data, and develop PoCs.
• Collaborate with the dev team to deploy strategies into production and monitor performance.
• Refine PnL metrics, post-trade analysis, and trading logic.
