Actalent in Colorado is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for cryogenic and industrial gas systems to lead end-to-end delivery on multi‑million‑dollar projects. You will design, integrate, commission and startup plant-scale systems, ensuring reliable operation of mechanical, process, and controls elements.

You will collaborate with controls engineers, use ASPEN/HYSYS, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Onshape and SolidWorks, and mentor teams across disciplines in a highly technical environment.

Competenze

• Lead delivery of large, complex infrastructure projects ($2M+) involving cryogenic/industrial gas systems.
• Own full lifecycle from conceptual design to startup at plant scale.
• Collaborate with controls engineers to define plant control strategies.
• Experience with plant commissioning and startup at scale.
• Strong background in cryogenic/process systems.
• Proficiency with ASPEN, HYSYS, AutoCAD Plant 3D, SolidWorks.

• Lead the delivery of large, complex physical infrastructure projects, typically valued at $2M or more, involving cryogenic, fluid, or industrial gas systems.
• Own the full lifecycle of systems from conceptual design and detailed engineering through installation, commissioning, and startup at plant or facility scale.
• Integrate equipment, piping and process systems, refrigeration and compression systems, and controls to create cohesive, reliable plant-level solutions.
• Apply deep process and cryogenic engineering knowledge to design and optimize complex process systems that meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements.
• Oversee and execute plant and facility commissioning activities, including system checkouts, functional testing, performance validation, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate closely with controls engineers and integrators to define and implement plant control strategies using PLC-based systems and PI/PID control concepts.
