Job summary

Aerodyn Ltd is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for North America, based in Indianapolis, IN. This leadership role directs senior engineers across four disciplines, guiding technical strategy, R&D, and process improvements to meet customer and business goals.

You will build strategic customer relationships, oversee project workload and profitability, mentor engineers, and partner with Finance and Sales to align budgets and commitments with company objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of engineering and/or personnel management experience across multiple disciplines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to solve complex projects.
• Customer-focused with ability to work with customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical and process authority for project engineers across all four engineering departments.
• Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships to support growth.
• Oversee workload and on-time delivery across all project engineers.
• Standardize cross-departmental reporting and review cadences.
• Support project engineers in kickoff meetings and customer updates.
• Lead cross-functional problem solving and new product development coordination.
• Review high-complexity or high-risk quotes for profitability and risk mitigation.
• Drive continuous improvement and process development across departments.
