Zusammenfassung

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesiology services in a Care Team Model across surgical, obstetrical and diagnostic settings. The CRNA should review patients pre-operatively and deliver anesthetics in all procedural areas with endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation and regional techniques as needed.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, active Maryland licensure, and NBCRNA CPC enrollment.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced understanding of anesthesia, perioperative medicine and critical care skills.
• Demonstrated patient care skills aligned with GBMC values.
• Licensure requirements include BLS, ACLS and PALS.

Aufgaben

• Provides anesthesiology services within the Hospital across all procedural areas.
• Selects, orders and administers anesthetics and related medications.
• Manages airway, ventilation and perioperative care.
• Pre-anesthetic screenings and documentation of results.
• Evaluates post-anesthesia outcomes and initiates appropriate actions.
• Discharges patients from post-anesthesia care.
• Collaborates with attending anesthesiologist to develop care plans.
