Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse, and APRN (Nurse Anesthetist) in the State of West Virginia is required.
• Board Certified or Recertified by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• 2 years’ experience as a CRNA

Responsibilities

• Maintains competence in airway management and usage of airway adjuncts.
• Participates in the pre-anesthetic evaluation and selection of anesthetic agents and techniques.
• Performs anesthesia including induction, maintenance, and emergence for general, regional, and monitored anesthesia cases.
• Documents anesthesia records and ensures safety checks on anesthesia-related equipment.
• Assesses staffing, coordinates breaks, and participates in supervision and development of CRNA staff.
