Job summary

SMG System Medical Group in the United States is seeking a certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia care in collaboration with supervising physicians. The role includes evaluating patients pre-operatively, selecting anesthesia techniques, and ensuring patient safety throughout induction, maintenance, and emergence.

The CRNA will monitor patients intraoperatively, manage airway and hemodynamics, and participate in post-operative care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of West Virginia, or applicable state where services will be performed.
• Board certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
• Extensive knowledge of anesthetic agents, airway management, and monitoring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient safety at all times.
• Maintains excellence in airway management and familiarity with airway adjuncts.
• Performs anesthesia planning, induction, maintenance, and emergence for general, regional, and monitored anesthesia cases.
• Monitors patient responses and communicates adverse conditions to surgeon/anesthesiologist.
• Documents anesthesia records and ensures equipment safety checks.
