Job description

Job Summary Details:

The Traveling Critical Facility Technician HVAC monitors and maintains all building systems and mission-critical facilities equipment associated with the raised floor environment.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Must be 18 years of age or older
2. Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
3. Seven (7) years of prior experience as an HVAC technician
4. Must be available to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

Ten (10) years' experience as an HVAC technician in a commercial data center setting is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform testing and rounds
2. Ensure adherence to critical facility work rules and safety procedures
3. Enforce all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
4. Conduct regular walk-throughs of customer facilities to support data center and office operations
5. Operate standard office equipment and utilize basic computer skills
6. Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for communication and reporting
7. Perform preventive maintenance on all building equipment
8. Assist with scheduling maintenance activities with minimal disruption
9. Respond promptly to emergency situations and customer concerns
10. Review operating reports related to critical systems and maintenance
11. Coordinate subcontractors and project crews
