Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Senior Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff and deliver direct patient care in a hospital setting. You will assist with bathing, mobility, vital signs, meal service, transport, and patient orientation under RN supervision.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, and a CNA license or active Nursing school enrollment. Strong communication, teamwork, and a patient-centered approach are essential to thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA license required OR currently enrolled in Nursing school.
• Ability to use a computer for documentation and work related purposes.
• Strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills are required.
• Demonstrates accountability for own actions.
• Provides service in a willing and courteous manner.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task.
• Able to take direction well, but also be self-directed and motivated.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care such as bathing, assisting with elimination, bed making, and vital signs.
• Transports patients and patient-related materials in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Greets and orients patients to the patient care area.
• Performs meal service and feeding assistance functions.
• Provides additional select care to patients.
• Collaborates with other team members to perform other services as directed.
