The Opportunity
Our Cyber Resilience team is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Crisis Simulation Designer to drive the success of our Crisis Sim product and contribute to the development of our expanding Cyber Drill solution. As an in-house subject matter expert, you will shape product strategy, engage customers, and craft world-class custom simulation experiences.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in designing engaging tabletop crisis simulations and a passion for creating realistic, impactful learning experiences. You should be skilled at collaborating with customers to understand their needs and translating these into tailored crisis scenarios. Additionally, you will have expertise in creating rich media, understanding AI concepts to enhance immersion, and the ability to consult, design, develop, and deliver top-tier simulations across various sectors and regulatory frameworks.
What You'll Do
This role directly impacts our revenue growth and customer success. You will serve as the SME and primary creator of Crisis Simulations, providing strategic guidance to internal teams and clients:
Cyber Resilience Team: Embedded within this team, you will be a key consultant for Crisis Simulations, leading the capability development.
Security Engineering Consultants: Develop compelling simulations for presales proof of concept or value demonstration.
Customer Success Team: Offer SME guidance in Crisis Simulation design, creation, and implementation globally.
Product Team: Assist in creating and maintaining Crisis Sim and Cyber Drill solutions and catalogues.
Product Marketing & Cyber Drills: Provide insights on industry trends and strategic positioning.
Revenue, Customer Marketing & Community Teams: Create engaging crisis simulations and thought leadership content for marketing and community engagement.
Customers: Develop and maintain a high-quality library of crisis scenarios, support customer enablement, and assist with custom exercises.
Partners: Collaborate to provide expertise and guidance in Crisis Sim creation.
Who You Are
4+ years designing crisis management and incident response exercises.
Experience capturing requirements and working with stakeholders to meet objectives within deadlines.
Proven ability to collaborate across functions to achieve goals.
Experience in agile, demanding environments managing changing priorities.
Experience with large, global, or government organizations.
Developing threat and risk-based scenarios for large entities.
Knowledge of Incident Response frameworks and Crisis Management strategies, especially in large organizations.
Familiarity with Business Continuity Planning standards and regulations (ISO, DORA, GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.).
Ability to synthesize complex info into concise executive summaries under pressure.
Skilled in creating exercises for C-Suite and broad company engagement, with post-simulation reporting and recommendations.
Strong project management skills to deliver high-quality work on time.
Understanding of human factors, vulnerabilities, and behavior change principles.
Knowledge of organizational structures.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills for diverse audiences.

Immersive is committed to fair compensation. The salary range for this role is approximately $116,250 - $166,875, depending on experience and location.
