The City of New York Mayor's Office seeks a Research Advisor to serve as a trusted advisor to the Criminal Justice Coordinator. The role focuses on designing, guiding, and communicating evidence-informed policies while coordinating cross‑agency data and research efforts.

The candidate will monitor research, develop projects, perform quantitative and qualitative analyses, and present findings to senior leadership. NYC residency is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years designing, conducting, and presenting complex research and data analysis.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and synthesize emerging research, best practices, and evidence relevant to criminal justice.
• Develop and execute high-impact research projects for the Criminal Justice Coordinator.
• Conduct data analysis on various justice-related topics (deflection, bail, pretrial, youth justice, reentry).
• Collaborate with the Mayor’s Office and other city agencies on cross-agency work.
• Produce executive briefings and evidence-based recommendations for senior leadership.
