The position emphasizes analytical reporting, trace investigations, and presentations to agency officials, with duties spanning field and office environments.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with valid US Driver’s License.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience with local, State, or Federal law enforcement is preferred.
• B.S. Degree from accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and training.
• Ability to work with and coordinate the efforts of local, state and Federal law enforcement.
• Willing to provide a DNA sample as part of employment screening.
• Strong presentation skills in presenting plans and projects to a group.

Responsibilities

• Identify high value targets using Crime Gun Intelligence.
• Merge NIBIN hits and tracing results across sources.
• Coordinate results with ATF Field Divisions and local authorities.
• Collect crime gun intelligence from surrounding agencies.
• Provide liaison support outside the office as required.
• Enter evidence into IBIS and perform image/correlation reviews.
• Use NESS for RMS event data and track all leads and reporting.
