Old Harbor Solutions in St. Paul, MN, seeks a Crime Gun Intelligence (CGI) Specialist II to support our government client.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least three years in law enforcement to deliver analytic support and trace data. You will work with IBIS, NIBIN, e-Trace and NESS systems to generate actionable leads, compile data, analyze trends, and ensure proper data handling while complying with safety procedures and government clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years general law enforcement experience; more is preferred.
• Must be able to coordinate with local, state, and Federal agencies and present plans to groups.

Responsibilities

• Gather crime reports and enter evidence into IBIS.
• Perform image and correlation reviews and NIBIN hit analysis.
• Create link charts for investigative leads and compile data for investigations.
• Gather gun traces for e-Trace entry and ensure data accuracy.
• Enter and update data in computer systems, following procedures and maintaining data conformity.
• Conduct trace analysis of trends and assist in firearms tracing.
• Restore obliterated serial numbers and ensure firearms are traced.
• Analyze e-Trace data for firearms trafficking and use NESS for daily data entry.
