Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Senior CRIBL Data Modeling Security Engineer to design and maintain CRIBL data models for log ingestion. The role supports SIEM, XDR, vulnerability management, DLP, and endpoint security across a large enterprise security program.

You will collaborate with security architects, implement robust security controls, and provide hands-on engineering, automation, and documentation to improve threat detection and response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or Information Security, or 8 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years supporting large IT environments/systems.
• CRIBL data modeling and log pipeline design experience.
• Experience implementing enterprise security tools: SIEM, XDR, vulnerability management, DLP, endpoint security.
• Scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, deploy, and support enterprise security platforms focusing on CRIBL data modeling and log ingestion.
• Manage SIEM and XDR deployments and ongoing operations.
• Support Linux-based sensors and endpoint monitoring tools across the environment.
• Assist vulnerability management, DLP, and security awareness initiatives.
• Create technical docs, guides, and SOPs; support incident detection and response.

Job Title : Senior CRIBL Data Modeling Security Engineer Position Overview

Work within a large enterprise security environment focused on CRIBL data modeling and log pipeline ingestion, while supporting security architecture, engineering, automation, and enterprise security platforms. This role will primarily focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining CRIBL data modeling for log ingestion and will provide hands–on technical support across security disciplines including SIEM, XDR, vulnerability management, DLP, endpoint security, Linux security sensors, and security automation.

What You'll Do

• Plan, design, deploy, and provide operational support for enterprise security platforms, with primary focus on: CRIBL data modeling and log pipeline ingestion
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Linux–based security sensors and endpoint monitoring tools
• Support planning, design, deployment, and operational support for: Extended Detection and Response (XDR)
• Vulnerability management platforms and processes
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions
• Security awareness and training platforms

Collaborate with security architects to design and implement enterprise security solutions aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements, and organizational risk tolerance. Design, deploy, and manage countermeasures addressing known security threats and contribute to mitigation strategies for emerging threats. Help ensure consistent application of security controls across enterprise infrastructure and applications. Validate security control effectiveness and recommend improvements. Support incident detection and response through monitoring, log analysis, and reporting. Develop technical documentation, implementation guides, and standard operating procedures as needed. Perform other duties as assigned in support of information security operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology or Information Security–related field.
• Eight years of relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
• Five years of experience supporting large IT environments and/or system deployments.
• Experience with CRIBL data modeling and log pipeline design and implementation.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and engineering principles.
• Experience implementing and supporting enterprise security tools, including SIEM, XDR, Vulnerability Management, DLP, and endpoint security.
• Experience developing automation and integrations using scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, threat detection, and defensive security strategies.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems, including system hardening and security configuration.
• Understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and secure system design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands–on CRIBL data modeling experience.
• Hands–on SIEM administration, analysis, and reporting experience.
• Experience building and deploying Linux–based security sensors.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as: NIST CSF CJIS IRS 1075 CMS MARS–E CISSP and/or Security+ certification.
