Bars & Rec is seeking a Senior Crew Lead to join our Milwaukee‑based team. You will act as the senior onsite authority, supervising staff during daily operations and special events, and ensure adherence to Bars & Rec standards while opening and closing procedures are executed securely.

This role feeds into a leadership pipeline with ongoing mentorship from senior managers. As a Senior Crew Lead, you will also be trained to perform all Crew Member and Crew Lead responsibilities, demonstrating

Job Description

Senior Crew Leads (SCLs) are integral leaders within our operations team and play a key role in the day‑to‑day success of the company. Working closely with Hospitality & Operations Managers (HOMs), SCLs support the tactical execution of service and ensure high operational standards are upheld. When an HOM is not on site, the SCL is the highest‑ranking team member and is expected to lead the shift with confidence, professionalism, and sound judgment.

While SCLs do not oversee functions such as scheduling, hiring, or formal discipline, they are considered part of the leadership pipeline and are actively being developed for future managerial responsibilities. They are expected to lead by example, provide coaching and support to the team, and model strong decision‑making under pressure. SCLs also receive ongoing mentorship from the Senior Operations Manager (SOM), Senior Hospitality & Training Manager (HTM), and HOMs to build their leadership and operational skillset.

In addition to leadership duties, Senior Crew Leads are fully trained in and expected to execute all responsibilities of the Crew Member and Crew Lead roles.

• Provide leadership and supervision to employees during daily operations and special events, acting as the senior onsite authority.
