Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex data to craft and propose credit policies for underwriting and account management. Optimize existing pre‑qualification and targeting strategies.
  • Manage and report on the performance of our credit policies and portfolios, extracting meaningful insights to drive business actions and alignment with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for enhancement across all customer touchpoints, from credit risk to the overall product experience, and drive these ideas from concept to real business results.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including product development, data science, and marketing, to design new products and credit strategies. Influence and reach agreements with these teams.
  • Use big data technologies to mine massive transactional datasets for credit risk analysis, translating findings into actionable business opportunities.
  • Design, implement, and monitor tests to explore new methodologies and estimate key metrics for our acquisition strategies and credit policies.
Qualifications
  • Education: MS/PhD in quantitative fields such as Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Economics, etc.; or Bachelor’s Degree in similar fields with 4+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in an analytics‑related role is required. Lending or fintech experience is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL. Advanced Excel skills and strong relational database query skills are also required. Familiarity with big data technologies like Hive or Hadoop is a plus.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong knowledge of credit risk‑related concepts, including credit bureau attributes, scorecard modeling, loss forecasting, and fraud detection.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a proven ability to dive into data, and a passion for finding business opportunities. Results‑driven and thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Mindset: Track record of taking full ownership of work, proactively seeking solutions, and collaborating effectively with a team.
Compensation

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Bay Area, California: $135,000 – $182,500
