Job summary

CBIZ is seeking a seasoned professional for its Credit Risk Services Group in the United States. The role focuses on due diligence, field examinations, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients across financial services, private equity, and debt markets.

You will supervise and mentor teams, manage engagement deliverables, and drive new business opportunities while ensuring high-quality analyses and timely billing. CPA credentials and travel readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5 years of experience in public accounting or related field.
• 3 years supervisory experience.
• Must have active CPA or equivalent certification.
• Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization.
• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs.
• Proficient use of applicable technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence and field examination assignments for the Group’s clients.
• Supervise, train and mentor staff; listen and communicate effectively; develop staff with performance feedback and evaluations.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert within the business unit and share knowledge.
• Serve as client’s trusted advisor; identify issues and propose solutions.
• Manage engagement deliverables; conduct technical and strategic reviews for quality.
• Develop new client relationships and participate in meetings and proposals.
• Oversee billing and realization; manage engagement budgets.
