Qualifications

• Ability to analyze financial data and assess risk for loan portfolios.
• Deep understanding of credit risk management, underwriting standards, and portfolio analytics.
• Strong communication skills to train and mentor teams and interact with regulators.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain credit risk appetite, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with lending teams to balance growth with prudent risk management.
• Provide portfolio oversight on credit administration, underwriting, and exception reporting.
• Approve loans within credit limits and ensure consistent underwriting across lending lines.
• Oversee risk metrics, stress testing, risk ratings, and asset quality.
• Coordinate with regulators and participate in examinations and audits.
• Guide Collections Manager and oversee collections of overdue payments.
• Monitor higher-risk loans and take action to mitigate losses.
• Review and approve charge-offs in line with procedures.
