Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Columbus, OH seeks a Credit Risk Measurement and Analytics Vice President to lead risk coverage across capital markets, lending, and derivatives with a focus on collateral frameworks, stress testing, and robust governance.

You will collaborate with risk, lending, trading, investors, and finance teams to translate market dynamics into actionable risk decisions, maintaining high standards and timely insight.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in an analytical, technical, trading, or research role in capital markets
• Background in financial mathematics, quantitative risk methodologies, or data science
• Broad knowledge of financial products across capital markets
• Proficient in Python and data analytics, with strong MS Office skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders and explain complex concepts
• Experience collaborating across teams and driving work to completion

Responsibilities

• Lead coverage for designated regions and product areas with methodological guidance
• Analyze lending value and margin requirements for complex asset classes and deals
• Work with quantitative modeling teams to review lending value changes and communicate outcomes to leadership
• Interpret regulatory requirements and integrate them into governance and controls
• Oversee global capital markets surveillance by monitoring dynamics and scenario analysis
• Produce oversight analytics and reporting to support risk monitoring and escalation
• Lead product oversight for loans and derivatives secured by marketable securities
• Lead event-driven risk reviews and present conclusions to leadership
• Guide limit design and monitoring for new initiatives
• Support new business reviews as a risk SME and enhance controls and documentation
