Tessenderlo Kerley Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant – Credit & Accounts Receivable to support financial health through general accounting, customer credit management, and AR oversight.

The role involves month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting with collaboration across Sales, Operations, and Treasury. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with 3+ years in AR or cash applications, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, cash application, or related finance roles.
• Experience with SAP is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and investigate variances.
• Support treasury activities, cash reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, US GAAP, and IFRS.
• Support audits and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Evaluate customer credit risk and manage credit limits.
• Process credit applications and maintain customer master data in SAP.
• Monitor customer aging, collections, and overdue balances.
• Collaborate with Sales/Customer Service to resolve disputes and improve cash collection.
