Job summary

U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union seeks a Senior Credit Analyst, Special Assets, to analyze and monitor higher-risk commercial Credit Union loans, supporting loss mitigation, restructures, and workout strategies.

The role partners with Special Assets Officers, lending teams, and risk management to provide timely, well-supported credit analysis, assess collateral, repayment capacity, and overall risk while complying with policies and regulations. Onsite in Albuquerque, NM.

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of experience in commercial credit analysis or related financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Formal credit training or completion of a commercial lending, loan review, or risk management program strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, debt service, and collateral for high-risk commercial loans.
• Support workout, restructures, forbearance, modification, liquidation, and recovery decisions.
• Prepare credit memoranda and risk assessments for credit decisions.
• Collaborate with Special Assets Officers, risk management, and senior leadership to assess borrower performance and risk.
