Job summary

Citizens Community Federal N.A in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to support our commercial and agricultural lending teams. This role combines detailed financial analysis, credit structuring, and portfolio management to influence lending decisions, mentor developing analysts, and contribute to the Bank's growth.

This on-site position at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire involves data gathering, loan analysis, committee participation, and ongoing risk assessment to safeguard

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or five years of lending experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience analyzing financial statements and tax returns.
• Ability to assess credit risk and support lending decisions.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-qualification assessment and analyzes financial condition and risk.
• Gathers data from customers and external sources.
• Prepares spreadsheets and analyzes financial information including statements and tax returns.
• Compiles data from credit bureaus and performs cash flow analyses.
• Communicates with Ag/Commercial Bankers on credits, spreads, and ticklers.
• Works with other departments to process and service loans.
• Performs site visits and/or customer meetings with bankers.
• Updates special assets on workouts, bankruptcies, and charge-offs; assists with problem loan reports.
• Participates in loan committee meetings and policy changes.
• Prepares reports and analyzes commercial and agriculture loan portfolio.
• Assists with training and mentoring Credit Analysts and Interns.
• Develops knowledge of financial industry, economy, and market conditions.
• Represents the Bank in community functions to enhance the Bank’s image.
• Performs annual reviews on credit portfolio to establish trends.
• Compiles credit action presentations to aid credit decisioning.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, banking laws, and BSA responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
