Job summary

Executive Recruiting Consultants seeks a Senior Credit Analyst to analyze and risk-rate complex credit relationships across commercial, agricultural, and SBA lending, ensuring adherence to policy and risk tolerance. You will evaluate borrower strength from statements, tax returns, and cash flow, and prepare clear credit presentations for decisioning.

You will conduct annual loan reviews, monitor covenants, and identify weaknesses to strengthen the bank’s position, while partnering with lenders

Qualifications

• Credit analysis of complex commercial, agricultural, SBA, and other credit relationships.
• Assessment of borrower and guarantor financial strength by reviewing financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, cash flow, projections, trends, and key ratios.
• Conduct annual loan reviews and monitor covenant compliance to identify weaknesses.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

• Analyze and risk-rate complex commercial, agricultural, SBA, and other credit relationships, ensuring recommendations align with lending policy, regulatory expectations, and the bank’s risk tolerance.
• Evaluate borrower and guarantor financial strength by reviewing financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, cash flow, projections, trends, and key financial ratios; summarize findings in clear credit presentations.
• Conduct annual loan reviews, monitor covenant compliance, identify credit weaknesses or policy exceptions, and recommend actions to strengthen the bank’s position and reduce risk exposure.
• Partner with lenders, credit leadership, and loan committees to address documentation issues, credit exceptions, underwriting concerns, and complex loan decisions through clear, well-supported recommendations.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to less-experienced credit staff while contributing to department initiatives, committee discussions, process improvements, and special projects.
