Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Credentialing/Enrollment Supervisor to manage the credentialing and enrollment team, ensuring active status with contracted payors and compliant licensure for groups, providers, and facilities. You will oversee SOPs, audits, and training to maintain high-quality processes.

You will coordinate with the team to handle Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial plan enrollments, while ensuring timely escalation of issues and accurate documentation across systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years credentialing experience in a managed care or provider setting.
• Experience with credentialing databases preferred.
• Leadership experience (remote and onsite) preferred.
• Knowledge of payer environment and billing/collections.
• Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid and other government payors.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (including overtime and weekends).

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day credentialing/enrollment operations and balances workload across the team.
• Documents and tracks credentialing, re-credentialing, provider enrollment, and hospital privileging in the system.
• Assists new providers with licenses and enrollment into Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial plans.
• Develops SOPs for credentialing workflows and onboarding.
• Conducts quality audits and implements corrective actions.
• Plans and delivers training on credentialing workflows and platform functionality.
• Escalates issues as the first point of contact until resolved.
• Maintains licenses and certifications in the database.
