Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a senior Credentialing & Enrollment Manager to lead the credentialing and enrollment team, ensuring active status with all contracted payors for all groups and providers. The role includes onboarding, license coordination, SOP development, and ongoing process improvements.

The position requires robust experience in credentialing within managed care, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payors.

Qualifications

• Five years of credentialing experience in managed care or provider setting.
• Demonstrated personnel leadership (remote and onsite).
• Experience with payer environment, billing, and payments.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payors.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day credentialing/enrollment operations and balance workloads.
• Document and track all credentialing, enrollment, and hospital privileging activities.
• Assist new providers with licenses and Medicaid/Medicare enrollment.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for credentialing workflows and onboarding.
• Conduct regular quality audits and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and deliver training on credentialing workflows and platforms.
• Serve as first escalation point for credentialing/enrollment issues.
• Maintain licenses and certifications in the database.
