Job summary

Academy Museum is seeking a Senior Manager, Academy Studios to lead development, production, and optimization of digital video content across the Academy’s channels. You will oversee multiple concurrent projects spanning institutional storytelling for the Academy and the Oscars, guiding creative teams and external partners to deliver high production value.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Film, Communications, Media Production, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5–8 years of digital video production experience with focus on YouTube channels.
Strong pre-production, production, and post-production workflow skills.
Deep knowledge of YouTube SEO, metadata optimization, and growth strategies.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and analytics dashboards.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day production and creative execution across Academy Studios content verticals (Academy Museum, Academy Collections, Academy100, Academy Gold, Oscars channels).
Manage video production from concept through delivery, ensuring quality and alignment with brand and YouTube strategy.
Lead pre-production planning, scripting, logistics, and on-site filming support for events.
Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and cross‑department workflows across concurrent projects.
Maintain asset libraries, file management, and documentation for efficiency and scalability.
