Position Summary
The Senior Creative Manager is a highly strategic, innovative, and customer-focused leader responsible for the development and execution of creative marketing and brand experiences across all channels. This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, product marketing, customer experience, creative innovation, and AI-enabled marketing transformation. The Senior Creative Manager will help define how customers experience the brand, understand its products, and engage with its solutions—bringing powerful visual storytelling and customer-centric thinking to a fast-evolving automation industry.
The Senior Creative Manager will oversee a multidisciplinary team of designers and events & experiences professionals, driving creative excellence across digital, print, web, advertising, social media, video, trade shows, and experiential marketing. This leader will balance high-level strategic thinking with hands‑on creative direction to ensure all marketing initiatives strengthen brand equity, communicate product value, and deliver compelling customer experiences.

Essential Job Functions
Creative Leadership & Brand Strategy
- Define and champion the creative vision for the IDS (Industrial Data Solutions) Division, ensuring alignment with corporate brand, customer needs, and market opportunities.
- Serve as the primary steward of the division's visual identity, brand voice, and design standards across all touchpoints.
- Develop and lead creative strategies that strengthen brand awareness, differentiation, and customer preference in industrial and B2B markets.
- Establish creative frameworks that translate complex technical products and solutions into compelling stories and customer-focused experiences.
- Drive innovation in brand communications while maintaining consistency across global and regional marketing efforts.
- Lead creative strategy and execution for integrated marketing campaigns spanning: digital marketing, website and landing pages, social media, advertising, email marketing, print collateral, video and animation, trade shows and events, and customer experience initiatives.
- Partner closely with marketing, sales, and product managers to develop visual strategies that support business growth.
- Ensure creative assets align with customer journeys and drive measurable engagement, lead generation, and revenue outcomes.
Visual Storytelling & Customer Experience
- Transform technical concepts, automation solutions, and product innovations into compelling visual narratives.
- Lead customer-centric design initiatives that improve user experience, engagement, and brand perception.
- Develop immersive experiences that connect customers with products, technologies, and solutions across physical and digital environments.
- Champion human-centered design principles throughout all marketing activities.
Product Marketing Support
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create launch strategies, campaign concepts, sales enablement tools, and product storytelling frameworks.
- Ensure creative output effectively communicates technical differentiation, benefits, and customer value propositions.
- Support new product introductions, strategic initiatives, and market expansion efforts through impactful visual communication.
Events & Experiences Leadership
- Oversee the strategy, planning, and creative execution of trade shows, customer or channel partner events, roadshows, and experiential marketing programs.
- Ensure event experiences align with brand standards and deliver memorable customer interactions.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with vendors, agencies, internal stakeholders, and business units to maximize event impact and ROI.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of graphic designers, multimedia specialists, and events & experiences personnel.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish workflows, priorities, and resource allocation processes that optimize efficiency and creative quality.
- Provide coaching, performance management, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Serve as a champion for AI-enabled marketing and creative workflows.
- Identify and implement AI tools that improve ideation, content creation, personalization, design efficiency, customer insights, and campaign optimization.
- Evaluate emerging marketing technologies and recommend innovations that enhance customer experience and marketing effectiveness.
- Establish governance and best practices for responsible AI usage within creative processes.
- Manage external agencies, freelancers, production partners, and creative vendors.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Oversee creative budgets and resource planning to maximize marketing investment.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in creative leadership, brand marketing, or integrated marketing roles.
- 5+ years of experience managing creative teams.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in B2B marketing, brand development, visual storytelling, campaign strategy, and customer experience design.
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and modern creative technologies.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing AI tools and technologies to improve marketing and creative outcomes.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in industrial manufacturing, automation, technology, engineering, or SaaS environments.
- Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM platforms, analytics tools, and digital experience platforms.
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
